Express Millwork delivers fast, commercial cabinetry that keeps your project on schedule—even when time is tight, budgets are lean, and surprises pop up. We fabricate your products using state-of-the-art software and equipment in our combined 67,000-square-foot manufacturing facilities in San Antonio and Austin, Texas.

The software uploads your order requirements, calculates the maximum yield of material, and communicates your sizes and shapes to one of our 3 CNC routers to be machined and cutout of ¾” particle core panels. Case parts utilize melamine faced panels and doors and finished end panels are cut from ¾” laminated faced panels.

Your products are then sent to an edge bander where solid PVC edge banding is applied to the edges of the exposed case parts to match your laminate with an industrial strength hot melt glue. This banding is then trimmed and cleaned and your products travel by conveyor to assembly for case construction.

After assembly your products are trimmed out with 110 degree euro hinges, 100 lb full extension drawer slides, 5mm shelf spoons for adjustable shelves and optional cabinet pulls available in three distinct styles. Your products are then checked for quality control, shrink wrapped, and prepared for delivery or pick-up.
Unlike other cabinet manufacturers, Express Millwork uses a plywood toe-box system instead of plastic legs or integrated side-panel toes. This design choice offers superior performance and long-term durability, making it the smarter option.
A continuous toe-box allows installers to level an entire run of cabinets , up to 8 feet, at once, eliminating the need to adjust each cabinet individually. This speeds up installation, ensures consistent alignment, and creates a more seamless, professional finish.
Unlike cabinet legs that rely on clips or fasteners, our plywood toe-box provides a solid base that can be finished with either a matching plastic laminate skin or a 4” rubber base for a streamlined look that blends perfectly with any design style.
Integrated toes often have exposed raw particle board at the floor, where moisture can be absorbed leading to swelling, damage, and costly repairs. Our plywood construction eliminates this risk, protecting your cabinets from water exposure and extending their lifespan.
While cabinet legs and integrated toes may come with a lower upfront cost, they often result in more installation challenges and long-term issues. With Express Millwork’s plywood toe-box system, you get a stronger foundation, faster installs, and cabinets built to last longer.
