Located in the Hills of South Central Texas, Camp Verde General Store & Restaurant offers an unexpected oasis to hill country travelers. Within the last two decades, new proprietors have revitalized an establishment that dates back 150 years. A former supply post for a nearby U.S. Army camp once tasked with testing the viability of camels - yes, camels - in military maneuvering, Camp Verde General Store now offers uniquely-sourced gifts and delectable country fare. Visitors can enjoy an ice cold Coca-Cola, fresh-popped corn, homemade cookies or a complete made-from-scratch lunch. Positioned above the tree-lined Verde Creek, a two-story Southern colonial stone structure creates the framework for guests to go back in time and back to quality.

Creative Development

Rudkin Productions leveraged a piece of Camp Verde General Store’s history to create a memorable brand. A colorfully decorated camel serves as the centerpiece of a timeless horizontal oval logo design. An all-capitalized, serif font further harkens back to traditional signage from eras gone by. A rugged yet polished color scheme and layout style run through the client’s Website, marketing brochures, direct mailers and many traditional advertising designs to capture the rich history of a timeless frontier gem. Our professional photography shoot brought new life to each of these marketing elements, showcasing the timeless beauty of the property as well as the vibrant findings inside the store and restaurant.
